He is not one for giving in, he showed that in NZ a couple of years ago when he took Aus close from what looked to be a hopeless situation. Just blasted off a run of 6's that got Aus close.

But please lets not call him "the Greek".

no he's called oil because of olive oil

Well even that is still slightly better than calling him "the Greek".

Small, trivial, casual racism is still what kind of racism?

But at least you had the decency to get the origins right.

I've seen turban-wearing Sikhs called names reserved for far more western Asian towel-like head garment folks and I wonder myself what is worse, the ignorance or the racism itself (which is obviously a form of ignorance in itself)? But I appreciate that an Australian would truly know the answer. :-)

So answer me this - if a Sikh gentleman is called a sand-nigger by an Antipodean, is that worse than calling him a "curry-muncher" because I believe it most definitely is. Not because of bias - but because of casual racist ignorance. :-) Casual racism may not be intended to offend, but the lack of intent seems to make it worse as it reveals believing it was acceptable.

Which is he according to you Katto? A "sand-nigger" or a "curry-muncher"?

I will put you on the spot like pot on hot knives because I am sick to death of racism and I am smarter than you will ever give me credit for :-)

Katto - I don't think you're stupid but when you take me on - I simply think you're out of your weight class and I feel like a bully. But I will not back down. And I am more than happy to go ten rounds.

Oh great - this Greek olive oil munching piece of **** called Katto has lost his rag :-)

Tell me more about why M Stoinsis is "the Greek" and not the "the Australian". :-)

Is the fact that he is born in Perth not good enough for you?

You're dead. You're buried. It is over. Your racism has killed you.

And that is my point about casual racism.

Katto, grow up you piece of Antipodean White Australia Proud flag waving piece of... :-)

You were burned before you even knew it ;-)

But then White Australia has been long held proud political policy of the Australian nation for quite some time ;-)

White Australians - they simply have no idea - they think kicking someone from Greece or Eastern Europe ethnic descendancy - heck Europe at all, on Cronulla Beach is patriotic.

White Australians like Katto - just simply do not get it. "the Greek" - ooops :-)

You lit the flame Katto. I will keep pouring petrol on it. All day. Every day. :-)

I look forward to your **** filled reply ;-)

(You are so out of your league Katto - but I like the fact your arrogance refuses to admit it) ;-)

Bring it - I will lift national scabs that you don't even know exist :-)

I am the worst type of A -Hole that exists, I am highly educated, self aware and intelligent. A deadly combo ;-). And I loathe racism.

The fact you think it is a compliment calling someone representing Australia "the Greek" is half the problem.

Are you going to call Sangha "the Indian"? Khawaja the "the Pakistani"? Did you call Gillespie "the Aboriginee"?

I can take or leave Greek food myself. I think Plato, Socrates, Aristotle and Pythagoras (and the rest of their ancient scholars) gave the world plenty for the Greeks to be proud of, though.

Donald Carr is the only one. Paul Terry was born in West Germany as there was no unified "Germany" at the time. Because iron curtain.

Oh the Afro-Americans call themselves the "N word" anyway defense ;-)

"Why can they call themselves that, but I may not - it is not fair"

Heard this argument a million times Katto. The fact that you even try to justify this point reveals half the problem.

The answer lies in social collaboration and bonds of similarity of societal racial difference in minority, not discrimination and marginalization of racial difference identification by majority of the minority. It is simply a revelation of the shared discriminatory unequal treatment traits that unites minorities as to majority as they see the and identify common bonds. Identifying this minority-common trait is not racist, but the continuation and labeling of discrimination by the majority is.

But I doubt you will appreciate this, ever. But, hey, I'm the imbecile ;-)

Try this in future - are you trying to unite and be collaborative with the racially said named - or simply identifying and reinforcing a point of difference from majority with the racially said named?

That is the difference. Because the former is not racist - but the latter is. That's all there is to it. It is that simple.

There is no inconsistency in the end-goal if unification is the target. There is a major difference if racial discrimination is the end-goal.

There is one ultimate question to racist labeling: is it a racially shared bond between or is it a racial point of difference? And that's that.

Andrew Symonds never ever Drops catches like that, if Finch Dive he can
Reach there easily.

So SA sends miller instead Klassen
Full credit to Aus bowler today - except Stoinis 6 overs 53 or so.may be 72 off 9 if he continues vs set batsman.

Southafrica should includes Behardien
Here but it's too late, he could very handy here, rotate strike plus

Cong for 50's by both Miller & FaF

FaF is HOT today so Rabada should response too

Andrew Symonds was one of the best fielders to ever play the game.

Most international cricketers would've made a better effort than Finch though. He's not the best in the outfield.

Carey dropped a sitter though. Paine would'nt have dropped that. Wade probably would've.

The problem is younger Australian players can only play T20. They don't get enough experience playing one day cricket because of Sutherland's legacy.
Chasing a big total in a 50 over game is an art. These guys just don't have it.

poor decision by Finch to send them in

Australian captains never send the opposition in unless the pitch is a minefield
